The Wedding (cake)

After a whole week of brilliant sunshine and high temperatures, the heavens opened on Genna’s wedding day.  It rained and thundered throughout the entire wedding!  But no-one cared a jot.  The day could not have been more beautiful.

Way too tired to give details.  The pictures say everything.  :)

An enormous thank you to the owner and staff of Aswanley for making Gen and Keith’s day so incredibly special.  :)

How lovely to see your smiling face in there, too.

You see, a Scottish setting for a wedding is far more romantic than an Australian one. Perhaps we should elope…

  14. FABULOUS cake – WELL DONE

Do you remember, right at the beginning, I suggested to you (wrongly, it turned out) that, if you were having trouble with making a cake, that you might find it easier to make a pile of cupcakes? That’s what my nephew went for at his wedding, also on Saturday (I had no idea the two weddings were the same day) … made and decorated by his cousin

That’s two couples with fantastic friends prepared to give freely of their time
