I have been in to Scottish food along my last 7 years living in America. I cook once in a while but sometimes I like to shop Scottish homemade food too. I have just found this blog because I am having problems with making tablet for my son’s wedding in 3 weeks time. My recipe is very similar to yours and I have used it for 50 years with no problem (got it from my P7 teacher) but I now just cannot get the sugar to dissolve. Have you any tips please.
